Payments can be made at the Town of Beausejour Municipal Office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by Cash, Cheque, Debit, or online banking. Instructions for online payments are listed below. Residents are encouraged to utilize the drop slot located at the back door of the building for payments by cheque, at their discretion.
It takes up to five business days for payments made through online banking to be received by the Town of Beausejour. Bills and property taxes are not considered paid until the Town of Beausejour receives the funds.
If you are paying bills online, it is your responsibility to ensure the Town receives the payment by the required due dates.
Please Note: Effective July 31st, 2017 the Town of Beausejour will no longer be accepting credit card payments.
How to Make an Online Payment
To make a payment through online banking the Town of Beausejour is required to be set up as a payee. To do this, search the word “Beausejour”. Two (2) accounts should be listed - Utilities and Taxes. Select the account you are wanting to make a payment towards.
If selecting Utilities, enter your Account Number located on your Utility Bill in the box to the right of your name, as shown below highlighted in yellow for your reference.
If selecting Taxes, the Account Number is your Roll Number and is located on the top right side of your Property Tax Bill. As shown below, highlighted in yellow for your reference. Please note: The Account Number must be entered without the decimal. For example, 0077850.000 would be entered as 0077850000
**Information for your consideration:
- CIBC does not accept online banking for the Town of Beausejour.
- TD Bank requires nine (9) digits in their Account Number. Therefore, enter the required number of zeroes (0) in front of the Account Number to total nine (9). For example Account Number 1234567 would be entered as 001234567
- Cambrian Credit Union requires ten (10) digits in their Account Number. Therefore, enter the required number of zeroes (0) in front of the Account Number to total ten (10). For example, Account Number 1234567 would be entered as 0001234567
