Welcome to the Town of Beausejour!
The Town of Beausejour is situated 46 km North East of Winnipeg on Highway 44, formerly Manitoba's original Inter-Provincial Highway 1. Beausejour is in the forefront of commercial and industrial expansion in Eastern Manitoba and is also the gateway to the Whiteshell – some of Manitoba’s best vacation lands. More than 3,100 people live here, close to beaches, tourism venues and major centres like Winnipeg.The town is governed by an elected council consisting of a mayor and four councillors. Elections are held every four years. Administration is led by a Chief Administrative Officer, located at the Town Office.
